📋 Quick summary (not legally binding): Be 14+ to use the site. Don't post harmful content. We facilitate bookings between you and Korean hosts. Refunds depend on cancellation timing. Korean law applies. Disputes go through Daegu court.

1. Who we are

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account (or have legal guardian consent if younger, in line with Korean PIPA Article 22). You agree to provide accurate information and keep your password secure. One person, one account.

3. How bookings work

Like Korean facilitates bookings between travelers and independent Korean hosts. The contract for each experience is between you and the host — we act as the booking platform and payment processor.

• Bookings become final when payment is confirmed
• You'll receive a confirmation email with all details
• Host details and meeting points are shared 7 days before the experience

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Toss Payments (PCI DSS Level 1). We accept major credit cards, Toss Pay, bank transfers, and PayPal. Prices include all applicable taxes. Currency conversion uses real-time exchange rates.

5. Cancellation & refunds

See our full Refund Policy. Summary:

• 60+ days before: 100% refund
• 30–59 days before: 50% refund
• Less than 30 days: No refund (except documented emergencies)

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate booking information
• Show up on time (no-shows forfeit the booking)
• Respect hosts and other participants
• Comply with Korean laws during your trip
• Have your own travel insurance

7. What you can't do

• Resell or transfer bookings to third parties without our consent
• Post false reviews or harassing content
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer our website

8. Intellectual property

All content on Like Korean (text, images, logos, code) is owned by (주)메이드인피플 or licensed to us. You may not copy or redistribute without permission. User-submitted reviews remain yours, but you grant us a license to display them on the platform.

9. Disclaimers

We work hard to ensure accuracy, but experiences may change due to weather, host availability, or other factors. Photos are illustrative. We're not responsible for losses arising from third-party services (airlines, insurance, etc.).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Korean law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking in question.

11. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes will be resolved in Daegu District Court as the court of first instance, unless consumer protection laws require otherwise.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance via email and on our website. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
